Sonia Unkles

came to the United States from Venezuela over 11 years ago. She met her husband while she was still in Venezuela. Since that time, they married and have two sons named Richard and Adrian. She sings, dances and practices Tae Kwon Do with her family.

Rafael Untalan

returns to the Miracle Mainstage for the fifth time. Previously, Miracle audiences would have seen him as Valentin in Kiss of the Spiderwoman (the Borderlands Theatre remount of which won the 2002 Mac Award for Best Drama), Aldo, etc., in the original production of The True History of Coca Cola in Mexico, and five years ago this September, the Bridegroom in Blood Wedding, also directed by Olga Sanchez. More recent Portland area roles include Macduff in Macbeth (Quintessence), George in In the Air (Theatre Vertigo’s 24 hr. plays), and Deeley in Old Times (defunkt). Rafael has also worked with Stark Raving Theatre, Cygnet, and Theatre of the Invisible, among others. He is a graduate of the U of O, and a member of the educational children's theatre company, C.I.T.E. Love and thanks to Jen.
