Norma Ramirez moved to Portland last year from a very small town in Montana and vowed to herself that she would take advantage of all the opportunities that a metropolitan city had to offer. She signed up as a volunteer usher/docent at Portland Center Stage, took a beginning acting class at Portland community College, and auditioned for Rosalba y Los Llaveros — completely unprepared and without an appointment! “This is my first play and I would never have imagined landing the role of Dolores ‘Lola’ Llaveros for my acting debut,” she says. “I certainly think it was destiny calling.” By day, Norma works as a Bilingual Advocate for the Domestic Violence Resource Center in Washington County.

You might have also have seen her trying to flag down cabs on the Banfield. A few months ago she played a "good girl" in a poignant Christmas drama; now she's wreaking her revenge. Don't watch for her in the near future, she'll be right behind you in the checkout line at Safeway looking at what you eat.

Me gusta mucho dibujar, escribir, y bailar.
