If you’ve ever wanted to run away and join the circus, we have got the FREE weekend workshop just for you: El circo y la comedia from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, July 27 and continuing 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, July 28 at El Centro Milagro (537 SE Stark St., Portland).

As part of our JAM: July at Milagro series of free creative classes and weekend workshops for the community, you can enjoy a dazzling showcase of circus and commedia dell’arte performance styles by Danny Moreno of Teatro Milagro and CarlosAlexis Cruz of Pelú Theatre Friday night. Then on Saturday, try your own hand at juggling, flagging, tumbling and acrobatics to create a unique student showcase.

Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration closes one week before class starts. Classes will be primarily in English, though the instructors are bilingual.
