Every November, Milagro starts its holiday season with ¡Viva Milagro! - Milagro’s sensational, family-style dinner celebrating the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos.
Seats are limited to 90 special guests, who will partake in a sumptuous dinner, catered by Mayahuel, surrounded by local artist Pepe Moscoso’s creative and inspiring Día de los Muertos altar exhibit in El Zócalo. Emceed by beloved entertainer, Joaquin Lopez, and featuring music, a silent auction of gorgeous Day of the Dead-inspired art, unique items for sale, and touching honorary Calaveras, this is THE quintessential event of Milagro’s season -- an extraordinary night for everyone!
Please join us for our most important fundraising event of the year, and enjoy the occasion to cherish those of us who are here, and honor the memories of loved ones no longer with us. To reserve your spot or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, call Molly at 503-236-7253 or email donate@milagro.org
Your participation helps Milagro continue to bring the vibrancy of Latino theatre, culture and arts education to audiences in the Pacific Northwest and across the country. We provide a home for artists and audiences seeking authentic, Latino cultural experiences. We value creativity and diversity; we welcome the risk of experimentation while respecting tradition; we empower our artists to think creatively and act collaboratively; we are often irreverent but never irrelevant. We entertain our audiences; we give them pause to think, feel and imagine; and, through the cultural lens of latinidad, we reflect the full spectrum of humanity. As a proud community leader and thinker, we speak boldly and authoritatively; as imaginative artists, we embrace the colorful and vivacious, the provocative and playful.
