Our original, bilingual celebration of Día de Muertos is not even officially open, and we are already hearing from audiences who are loving it!
Cast member Daniel Moreno posted a nice short rave from a fellow Woodburn HS alumnus who saw a pre-preview and had to share his enthusiasm on Facebook:
“Went to Corrido Calavera last night at the Milagro Theatre. It was Awesome! Small Portland Theater, Show based on Dia de Los Muertos, felt a little like a Spanish BeetleJuice, and it had Daniel Moreno of Woodburn playing one of the main characters!!
Tonight is their Opening Show! It is a must see in my book!! Daniel did great! the Show is Fun, and being half in Spanish, and Half in English it is perfect for anyone from Woodburn, Plus by coming to see it, you get to support one of “OUR” Bulldogs!!! Loved it! Great job Danny!”
Tonight’s Opening and Reception is sold out and there are only a handful of seats left for Saturday’s show, but you can still be among the first to see this rollicking show during its Sunday matinee at 2pm. Make your reservations for this or any other performance
