Don McGlynn, whose past films highlight such greats as Howlin Wolf, Charles Mingus, Art Pepper, Dexter Gordon, and Louis Prima, turns his focus to acclaimed Spanish music conductor Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos. Following de Burgos, now the chief conductor of the Danish Symphony Orchestra, for more than a year as he prepares for guest conducting appearances all over the world, we learn not only about a remarkable 60-year career, but about the craft of preparation and the art of making musical magic.
