Miracle is currently seeking submissions from Latino visual artists who wish to show at El Centro Milagro during out 2012-2013 season. In our lobby gallery (and sometimes in our adjacent Zócalo), we exhibit two-dimensional work by emerging and professional Latino artists who live in the Pacific Northwest. We welcome submissions from both individual artists as well as proposals from groups of artists. Submissions are accepted year-round; the next opportunities to exhibit are:
September 14-29, 2012, during our La Luna Nueva festival of Hispanic arts and culture
March 14-April 13, 2013, during our production of “Guapa”, a new play by Caridad Svich
Artist receives a pair of complimentary tickets as well as a profile on the theatre’s blog/newsletter/social media. There is also an opportunity to sell prints, etc. through our box office. We retain a 25% commission on all sales. Artists are responsible for transportation of artwork to and from the theatre.
To be considered for exhibition, artists should submit:
– Resume and/or bio with complete contact information, including email and phone number
– Artists statement
– 5-10 digital images (attachments must not exceed 5MB total) OR a link to your online portfolio
