Meet the Muertos: Cristina Cano

Meet the Muertos: Cristina Cano

As we move closer and closer to opening night for ¡Viva la Revolución!, our Day of the Dead celebration, Olga has been sharing insight to the development process of this original work. On her team of collaborators are multi-threat talents of actors, singers, dancers and all around creative heads, and we’d like to use this blog to introduce you to this year’s muertos. (Watch for more artist profiles every week or read those that have already been published.)

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Cristina Cano, a Portland-based actor and musician. She has played Babe in Working, Tamara in A. Actress, and was most recently seen in the role of Fyokla in White Nights. She is a founding member of the Improvisational Comedy Group, Blank Slate. She also regularly performs her original music in Portland with her band, Siren & the Sea. Cristina feels honored to be welcomed into the Milagro family this year and would like to thank all those involved in making this beautiful story come to life.
